Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7
In the summer of 1973, Porsche launches the second generation of the 911. Before the presentation of the 911 Turbo in autumn, the 911 Carrera 2.7 occupies the top spot of the new “G-Series”. The 1,075 kilogram sports car is powered by the 2.7-litre flat-six of the famous 911 Carrera RS 2.7 with forged pistons and a mechanical manifold injection. The rear fenders are widened by 21 millimetres on each side. Like the legendary RS 2.7, the 911 Carrera features anti-roll bars on both axles and wider rear wheels.
