At the height of the world economic crisis, “Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, Konstruktion and Beratung für Motoren- and Fahrzeugbau” (a “Design and Consultancy Company for Engine and Vehicle Construction”) was entered in the Stuttgart trade register on April 25. The engineering office, based in Kronenstrasse 24 in Stuttgart, had already begun work in December 1930.
