Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet

Winner’s car

Power and Performance

The perfect match: the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet offers even more performance and efficiency and is therefore the ideal main prize for the winner of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. When during the tournament the sporting powerhouse stands on its podium on the edge of Centre Court in the Porsche Arena as an attractive eye-catcher and stimulus for the players, then performance athletes are amongst themselves.

The 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet does not only score with its distinctive design – its performance is also impressive. Thanks to the redesigned turbo-charger, the three-litre six-cylinder flat engine develops 331 kW (450 hp). It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and consumes up to 0.6 litres less fuel per 100 km than the previous model. Like the other versions of the GTS models, the Cabriolet comes with a manual seven-speed gearbox or optional with Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK).

Optimised aerodynamics

The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is fitted standard on all GTS Cabriolet models. Top speed on every GTS model is beyond the 300 km/h mark. However, GTS models within the 911 series differ not only technically but also optically. All the cars are based on the wide all-wheel drive chassis that now measures 1,544 mm at the rear axle on every rear-wheel drive model. The new sport front spoiler accentuates the sporting character. The front has been aerodynamically optimised. A low front spoiler and a higher rear spoiler extension further reduces the lift coefficient on the front and rear axle.

The GTS is made unmistakeable at the rear by tinted taillights, the air intake grille finished in satin black and the centrally-positioned twin black tailpipes of the sports exhaust system that are fitted as standard. A new black accent trim between the taillights characterises the rear-wheel drive models. Sport design exterior mirrors, 20-inch centre-lock wheels painted in satin black and the GTS logos on the doors round off the side view.

New Porsche Track Precision App

GTS genes also determine the interior. The stop watch belonging to the standard Sport Chrono Package is placed centrally in the dashboard. Another feature is the Porsche Track Precision App specially enhanced for the launch of the GTS models. Amongst other things, it allow automatic recording, detailed display and analysis of vehicle data on a smartphone. GTS drivers and passengers are seated in Alcantara seats with a new seam pattern. The four-fold electrically adjustable Sport Seats Plus with the GTS logo on the headrest provide greater lateral support and comfort. There is also the black anodised aluminium trim on the instrument panel as well as a higher degree of Alcantara that is to be found, for example, on the steering wheel rim, the central storage compartment and the armrests.

The 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is a joy to behold – and it is the winner’s trophy in the women’s game that each and every player wants to win.
