The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix offers its visitors far more than just top stars and world class tennis. An attractive supporting program of events with a colorful mixture of sport and entertainment, autograph sessions, competitions and “have-a-go activities” ensures that there’s also no chance of boredom occurring off-court. Young and old both get their money’s worth.

A delight for the senses

World class is the order of the day at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, and not only when it come to the starting line-up. The claim also applies to the supporting programme of events. Sponsored by Porsche as a partner, the Stuttgart Ballet will serve up a real highlight on the Porsche Arena’s Centre Court on Sunday, 28 April. The world-famous company’s dancers will get the spectators in the mood for the final by performing the ballet titled, “Are you big as me”. A delight for the senses.

Shopping and amazement

Shopping, wining and dining, players: The Sport- and Lifestyle Village offers visitors highlights for every taste. In addition to many “have a go yourself” activities for both young and old, there are also the daily autograph sessions with the players in the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix’s attractive area for the public. One can also watch the stars practising from close up – relaxing while drinking an espresso or cappuccino.

Fun and games

Top entertainment for the young visitors to the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is provided by Porsche4Kids. The area includes the Porsche Racing Simulators in which young and “old” can have thrills galore racing each other. There is also the spectacular slot car racing track and the Porsche Performance Puzzle. The Tom Targa walking act not only attracts kids with his friendly aura but also catches everybody’s attention with his expert knowledge. The Porsche Mission E gives kids the chance to take on the role of secret agents. In doing so, they are supported by the Playmobil operative Rex Dasher and his innovative secret agent car on an important mission. On Easter Saturday, the kids’ area will host the eagerly awaited drawing of the main draw. Who plays who?

A look into the future

In the Porsche Arena’s entrance hall, visitors can find out about Porsche on every day of the tournament in the Porsche World. Porsche Branded Entertainment will celebrate a world premiere with the LEGO Show Car 911 RSR. Guests can also marvel at the latest development stage on the way to Porsche will entering Formula E at the end of 2019. All those wanting to risk taking a peep into the future should not miss out on taking a look at Porsche’s Mission E that is on display. Porsche Experience’s presentation enables visitors to experience the fascination of Porsche for themselves. And the Porsche Museum will celebrate its 10th jubilee at the venue.

Let’s go!

As a part of the Players Cheer Up campaign at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, every player is loudly supported by their own fan club who also display colourful banners. Each fan club is made up of 12 juniors from tennis clubs belonging to the Württemberg Tennis Association (WTB) and the Baden Tennis Association (BTV). They are entitled to free entry to the Porsche Arena for as long as their player is still in the tournament. The most inventive fan club will be given a prize on finals day.

Tennis kids on course for the Grand Slams

The little ones’ big time comes in the 7th Porsche Mini Tennis Grand Prix presented by Südwestbank which will take place in the Sport- and Lifestyle Village during the finals weekend. On four mini courts representing the Grand Slam tournaments, the budding U-8 players will strive to emulate their idols. The Porsche Junior Tennis Grand Prix will be contested by U-14s and the semifinals and final will also be played on Court 1 during the finals weekend of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix.

Fantastic offers

The Saturday and Sunday of the qualifying weekend (20 and 21 April) are Kids’ Days at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix with competitions and “have-a-go activities”. Children up to the age of 12 will gain free admission. Public autograph sessions and guided tours behind the scenes are the big attractions on Fan Day (Monday, 22 April). And what’s more: All those buying two tickets will be given two for free – and can therefore watch six top players in the spectacular Turkish Airlines Tiebreak. On Friends’ Day (Tuesday, 23 April) every visitor to the tournament will be greeted with a glass of Geldermann sparkling wine and can go shopping to their heart’s content in the Sport- and Lifestyle Village. Fun, games and action is the order of the day on Family Day (Wednesday, 24 April) with tattoos at the Agapedia Stand and a public children’s press conference where the kids can “pepper their stars with questions. Fitness Day (Thursday, 25 April) will center on fitness, sport and health spa. There will be numerous “have-a-go-yourself” activities whereby the visitors can show just what they are capable of.
